Firstly, we realized that youngsters with interest in nature and wildlife conservation weren’t getting enough opportunities or guidance to find their passion and make an impact. We aspire to that platform.
Secondly, today we all exist in social echo chambers that is keeping many people uninformed about issues. We want to break through those echo chambers and reach out and educate people who currently do not understand the importance of healthy eco system, ecology and environment.
Understanding nature and complexities of ecology which developed over 3.7 Billion years. But we can make it easier. Some communities faces envirnmental issues while others can play important role in conservation . Under this project we open dialogue with them so help and educate in either senarios.
Everyone has a right to a healthy envirnment. But this right of people and kids from under previledged communities are often voilated. They also often the first once to face the impacts of changing environment and ecology. It is therefore important that they are learn abot their rights, impacts and mitigation methods to environmental degradation.
As individuals we often feel powerless to combat towering global issues of environmental and ecological degradation. But we believe every drop causes a ripple effect and is very impactful. Under this project like bees make propolis to improve the envirnment of its home similarlar we will teach people methods to improve the envirnment at their homes .
We are commited to raise awareness and keep the common people informed about the evnironment , ecology, wildlife, sustaiable development and govenmental policies about them. To make sure this knowldge reaches the common people of India we develop podcasts, videos other content in multiple languages .
Aarey Forest, fondly know as the green lungs of Mumbai has been and keeps on facing repeated assaults in terms of evnironmental degradation . Now is the time we help it heal join us every Weekend possible to help out in scientifically planned reforestation efforts. It is a collective project by multiple organisations and common people.
The trip organised to Arey was really fun and well organised. Had a lovely time with the locals (Adivasi Tribe). Enjoyed the nature trail and the local food and all the fun filled activities. You guys are doing a gr8 job.
Hi. I just accidently saw them on FB on some event. After talking couple of times we decided on private event and it was organised on our request. Trust me everything was perfect the way it should be. Anurag and Reema could join us for the event passion they have for the whole cause and what they are doing can not be explained. You have to go and experience on your own. Just go for it.
We recently went on a trail to Yeoor with the Natrurlist Foundation. This trail was lead by the effervescent Anjali. Every bit of the walk was thoroughly enjoyable. Waiting for our next trail with NT.
Yeoor Hills Trek is a great experience. Short trek leads you to a flat patch leading to a steep Hill. Must visit for Nature Lovers and definitely a must visit with the knowledgeable and enthusiastic Team of Naturalist
Anurag is extremely knowledgeable about his domain. His passion for it also clearly shows. His patience with kids was enormous in the session. Handling 40 kids of age 14-18 isn't easy. He really opened up a new world for them through his photographic journey, narration style and his passion and enthusiasm.Cant wait to do another session with Anurag in the future.Keep up the good work Anurag. We organised for our school a virtual session with Anurag on the marine creatures in Andaman Islands. It was a really beautiful session. Anurag's photographs were really beautiful and the stories accompanying them were even more mesmerizing. The creatures underwater are so beautiful, and it's a pity we don't know anything about them. We really appreciate Naturalist foundation's work in making people aware of the same.
Grade 5 stydents of Candor International school were taken on a virtual field trip to Havelock Island by Mr Anurag of Naturalist foundation. It was a fantastic experience as he diligently explained the role of each seacreature on his way to maintain sustainability in the ocean. It was once in a lifetime experience for our students as they now are motivated to value and protect marine life!
It was an amazing experience with the nature . Children’s had a great time exploring the village and nature and every bit of the holi event . You guys gave a detailed explanation of so many things 😀
All event, specially Holi event organized by the team was really very exciting and fun filled. Best for kids and at the same time educational for all to understand the seriousness of forests in our life. Kudos team highly appreciated. Keep up the great work 👏👏💐
Well organised trip, giving space to relax n imbibe the natural surroundings. The Marine trails at various timing (evening,night) with variety sightings was out of the world experience. The information imparted pertaining to each experience greatly helped in understanding marine life. Good guidance and support, help in water sports too.
It was a very fun walk with Anurag sir and we got to learn so much him and his teamIt was so much fun and very informative as always ❤️. We learnt so much about the life beneath us .
I've loved each one of the walks... specialy the marine walks with anuraag kalekar, sachin rane, maseera shaikh., ujjwal and many more..always had great sightings 'cause you guys know how to find the treasures:)..Hope to hear from you soon.Till then we'll miss you......
